History of England

England is one of the largest in Britain and represents a rich and glorious history. Archaeological evidence revealed that nearly seven hundred thousand years back a particular stage of human evolution Homo erectus settled in the region today in England. At that time the geographical feature of England was also very different than it is today. The most important English Channel at the time of Homo erectus is simply a river. The area is sparsely populated but with the advent of time and invasions of the region is gradually becoming densely populated. With the progressive development civilization of England became the main objective of the invasion and the age of 43 JC after the first invasion of the Roman Empire was held in England.

The Anglo-Saxon period of English history marks an important role, the Anglo-Saxon period is considered the early history of medieval England. The historic phase of the seventh to roughly one tenth centuries is considered the development of Christianity in England.

Christianity in England was established mainly by the Roman Empire. With the advent of the Roman Empire in England several other kingdoms and dynasties were established. It should be borne in mind that the Kingdom of England consists of the Kingdom of Wales.

In the history of England, Norman conquests play an important role. This conquest was held by William the Conqueror in the year 1066. The conquest of Norman had many profound implications of England, first conquest is a close link between England and the European continent and, secondly an enormous transformation of England 's culture was brought to occur because of conquest. This cultural transformation has covered several aspects of England.

During the late Middle Ages in England the Roman Catholic Church has supremacy, but with the advent of the Renaissance and reform the supremacy of the Roman Catholic Church has been reduced. Instead of Roman Catholicism supremacy of the royal family was created. However, the last phase of England 'history was introduced by civil wars that took place in England.
