Education in England
is given on the Department
for Children, schools
and families, which
is responsible for all
issues including educating
people until the age
of 19 years. The other
department responsible
for education in England
is the Department for
innovation, universities
and skills, which deals
with all matters concerning
adult education, higher
education, skills, science
and innovation.
Education in England
is free and compulsory
for children between
5 years and 16 years.
Education for children
is divided into two
stages:
* Primary School Education: From 5 years to 11 years.
* Secondary School Education: From 11 to 16 years.
